New! Old vs New Bass Clef & Choosing a Mouthpiece

I’ve put up two new pages over the past week:

The titles are fairly self-explanatory, but just in case, here’s the TL;DR of each page.

Old vs New Notation Bass Clef

This page shows the differences and attempts to explain why there are two different ways of writing bass clef parts in horn music. Hopefully if you had any doubt about the differences between old and new notation, this page will clear them up!

Choosing a Mouthpiece

I’ve had my Mouthpiece Comparison Chart on my site for quite a while, and it’s been a pretty popular page. As kind of a companion page, I thought I’d write a little bit about how and why you should go about looking into changing your mouthpiece. Changing mouthpieces can seem as random as flipping a coin sometimes, but if you have a specific goal and a good plan, it can be relatively stress-free.
