A New (To Me) Resource for Brass Players

I recently stumbled across TromboneTools.com, a website by David Vining.

David Vining is the trombone professor at the University of Northern Arizona and a co-owner of Mountain Peak Music, as well as a member of the Flagstaff Symphony and a freelance trombonist.

Although (obviously) geared toward trombone players, TromboneTools.com features lots of great resources and concepts that can be applied to any brass instrument. Topics include breathing, articulation, practicing, buzzing, injuries, auditions, and much more.

If you’ve found yourself in a bit of a practice slump and need some inspiration or advice, TromboneTools.com can give you a fresh start in the new year!

If you’re in the market for some new horn music, check out Mountain Peak Music. Lots of variety – from etudes to solos, duets, and more – for all brass instruments.
